Sandra Ella Bradberry, and I am a proud first-generation college student. I am the daughter of Willie Paul Bradberry and Audrey Lynn Daniel, and the youngest of six children. My siblings—Shaphon Carter, Darvon Carter, Shayla Dix, Dominique Carter, and Willie Bradberry—have all played a role in shaping who I am today. I was born on August 26, 2005, in Lewiston, New York, and raised in Niagara Falls. During my early teenage years, I began to explore my identity and aspirations. I took part-time jobs, learned to manage my responsibilities, and worked diligently to support myself. These experiences taught me the value of hard work, independence, and resilience. I graduated with high honors from Cardinal O’Hara High School in the Class of 2023, and I am currently a student at Clark Atlanta University, one of the nation’s leading Historically Black Colleges and Universities. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, with a current GPA of 3.48, and I have been recognized on the Dean’s List. As I transition into my junior year, I remain committed to academic excellence and personal growth. Beyond the classroom, I am actively involved in several organizations, including the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS), the Pre-Dental Student Society, and Breaking the Cycle Global, Inc. These groups have provided opportunities for community service, leadership development, and career exploration. Through these affiliations, I have strengthened my confidence, built meaningful relationships, and gained experiences that continue to shape my journey. As I move into the next phase of my undergraduate education and begin preparing for my professional career, I am deeply committed to giving back—to both the community that raised me and the one that is shaping me today. I strive to lead by example and to inspire younger generations by showing that success is possible through perseverance, purpose, and positivity. My ultimate aspiration is to become a dentist and open my own practice—rooted in Black excellence and located in underserved neighborhoods. I believe dental hygiene is a crucial component of overall health, yet it is often overlooked due to a lack of resources and awareness. My passion for healthcare is driven not only by my ambition but by a desire to address these disparities and make a lasting impact. Two of my greatest strengths are my determination and my dedication to building a better life, a better world, and a better future. I truly believe in my potential to become the best version of myself for myself, my family, and my community. This is the path I have chosen, and I am walking it with purpose.
