In 2022, a group of friends came together with a shared vision of making a positive impact in their community. Together with the support of many in the community a key focus was rebuilding the Beech Avenue Park.
Once a five acre park which provided a place for the community to enjoy activities of daily living and historic events
In 2022, a group of friends came together with a shared vision of making a positive impact in their community. Together with the support of many in the community a key focus was rebuilding the Beech Avenue Park.
Once a five acre park which provided a place for the community to enjoy activities of daily living and historic events. The park was replaced by low-income housing, adding to the population of residents, yet decreasing support services.

There is a great need to devise economic development initiatives that will improve the quality of life, raise the standard of living, and empower the citizens who reside in the 4th District of Niagara Falls. The revitalization of Beech Avenue Park can be a catalyst of change for the residents of our community in an area of the city that has been negelected for years and needs modernization. Having parks and recreation in a neighborhood is an essential public service that is vital contributing to the economic and environmental health and well-being of a community, as well as ensuring the health of our families, including, the youth and the elderly.

OUR PLAN FOR 2023: THE M.A.R.C. COMMUNITY CENTER AND MEETING SPACE
In the spring of 2022, Ms. Doss attended the Citizen Planning
School, Champions for Change Program where students turn
their ideas into action with the help of the University of Buffalo
School of Architecture and Planning and the Department of
Urban and Regional Planning. The Champions for Change
Program supplied Ms. Doss the base planning to build a
community center to support residents of the city of Niagara
Falls.
In 2023, Niagara United Vision Inc., is looking forward to
building a community outreach center and engaging city and
state officials to bring a community center back to the north
end of Niagara Falls, New York. Both centers will open doors to before/after-school and weekend activities that will increase the
knowledge base of our children, enhance community relationships and provide health and wellness programs. We will also provide Aqua-dot swimming pool and a state of the art gym for collegiate and AAU sporting events. Lastly, our centers will provide space for direct support to senior citizens and those with disabilities.
